24k Magic Holiday Extravaganza - Dec. 16

MLK Celebration - Jan. 13, 2024 @12pm

Good morning.

King Solomon 222 will be participating in the MLK event on Jan. 13 starting at 12pm.

Please have everyone be there around 11:15am - 11:30am. We are trying to get as many brothers and sisters out on this day at possibilities furniture store in Johnston. Our very own Robert Heflin, will be opening the ceremony with a speech towards the youth. We are requesting everyone be in masonic regalia. Please help in spreading the word to all sisters and brothers. Any changes will be posted.

National Faith & Blue Weekend (Faith & Blue) ~ October 6-9 & October 31

There are some great opportunities for citizens to have fun, gain safety information, interact with officers and learn more about Cayce; a great place to live, work and play. PLEASE pass this information along to everyone:

October is National Crime Prevention Month. Cayce Police Department will be holding events to celebrate National Faith & Blue Weekend (Faith & Blue). The purpose for Faith and Blue is to help law enforcement and the community connect on a personnel level, and in doing so, create safer and stronger neighborhoods. A weekend long affair that allows law enforcement and the Faith based community to come together.
October is also recognized as Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Domestic violence affects millions, of every gender, race, religion, culture, and status. Nearly 3 out of 4 Americans know someone who has been a victim of domestic violence or have personally been victimized by domestic violence. There is help and Cayce PD is here to advocate for you.
The Faith & Blue Activities will begin on:
Friday, October 6 with Coffee with a Cop 7:00 AM-9:00 AM at:

Saturday, October 7 at the Cayce Fall Festival 12:00-6:00 PM
Granby Park                 1800 12^th St., Cayce
Sunday, October 8 Breakfast, and lunch with/for officers
Cayce United Methodist Church will fellowship during breakfast with Cayce officers, at the Church, after a brief presentation on Safety Awareness by Sgt. Durrett
Biblical House of God will provide lunch for officers with prayer cards.   The lunch will be delivered to the PD.
Monday, October 9 Monday March Against Crime 5:30-7:00 PM

All participants will gather at the front door of headquarters and be ready to walk by 5:40 PM. We encourage you to wear blue (any shade of blue). We will start with a prayer, walk, have light refreshments, and end with prayer.
            Saturday, October 28 Cayce Tales on the Trails 5:30-8:30 PM

Family friendly event for all ages. Foundation event in partnership with the PD. There will be storytelling which include Cayce Legends, food, music, movie, and a Trunk or Treat.
Tuesday, October 31 Halloween 5:30-9:00 PM
Neighborhood patrols on foot and by car as well as candy giveaway. Halloween Safety Tips Flier is requested for distribution during the latter part of the month.
